Last updated: May 2026. By booking or purchasing any service or course through Midwife Viv, you agree to these terms in full.
Important Disclaimer
All information, guidance, and support provided by Midwife Viv through courses, services, WhatsApp groups, or any other format is intended for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your GP, midwife, health visitor, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concern about yourself or your baby. Never delay seeking professional medical help because of something discussed with Midwife Viv.
In an emergency, always call 999, contact NHS 111, or go to your nearest A&E. Midwife Viv is not an emergency service and cannot be used as one.
Reliance on any information or guidance provided by Midwife Viv is solely at your own risk. Midwife Viv does not accept liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of her services or educational content.
General
All services and courses are provided by Vivien Fazekas, trading as Midwife Viv. Viv is a registered midwife based in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area.
These terms apply to anyone who purchases, books, or accesses any service or course offered by Midwife Viv, including courses, home visits, WhatsApp support, and the Maternity Nurse Night Nanny service. By completing a purchase or booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms in full.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Bookings & Payment
Most services and courses are booked directly through the website at midwifeviv.com. Once your purchase is complete, Viv will be in touch personally to confirm and arrange everything.
The Maternity Nurse Night Nanny service is by enquiry only and must be arranged via WhatsApp before any payment is made. Once everything is confirmed, a proforma invoice will be issued and payment can be made by bank transfer or cash. The full terms and conditions and privacy policy applicable to the Maternity Nurse Night Nanny service are set out in the service brochure provided at the time of enquiry. By proceeding with a booking for this service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted those terms in their entirety.
If you prefer to pay by cash or bank transfer for any other service, please contact Viv before booking and she will arrange this for you.
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing with Midwife Viv. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Cancellations & Refunds
All fees are non-refundable once access to the service, course, or group has been granted. This applies to all products and services offered by Midwife Viv, including courses, home visits, WhatsApp support, and group memberships.
In exceptional circumstances, a refund or credit may be considered at the sole discretion of Midwife Viv. If you have a concern, please reach out directly before assuming a refund is not possible.
If you need to reschedule a session, please contact Viv as soon as possible via WhatsApp. Viv will do her best to accommodate you, subject to availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice for home visit services may not be eligible for rescheduling. If you need to cancel entirely, please contact Viv directly. While fees are non-refundable, Viv will always try to find a fair solution.
In the unlikely event that Viv needs to cancel a session, she will contact you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative time at no additional cost.
Courses
The course fee covers all sessions included in your chosen course and access to the educational content delivered during those sessions. It does not include travel costs beyond 25 miles from Greater Manchester unless otherwise agreed in advance.
All content provided through courses and sessions is for your personal use only. You may not copy, share, reproduce, or distribute any part of the content without prior written consent from Midwife Viv.
If you are unable to attend a session, please contact Viv as soon as possible. Missed sessions may be rescheduled subject to availability but do not entitle you to a refund.
The support and information provided through courses is limited to the scope of newborn care as outlined in the course materials. While general questions about labour, birth, and pain relief are welcomed, Midwife Viv’s primary focus is newborn care education.
WhatsApp Support Group
Membership covers access to the WhatsApp Support Group for the duration of your chosen plan. It includes up to two phone numbers per membership, for example both parents. If you wish to add additional numbers, please contact Viv directly.
Questions will be answered between 9am and 6pm. Questions received outside these hours will be addressed by 9am the following day at the latest. Viv reserves the right to change these hours with at least 72 hours notice. As Viv is also a mum of two, in the event of an emergency she will make every effort to inform group members of any delays as soon as possible.
The group is a respectful and supportive space. Please respect the privacy and confidentiality of all group members. Do not share personal information, discussions, or screenshots of conversations outside the group.
Midwife Viv reserves the right to terminate membership at any time if these terms are violated or if participation is deemed detrimental to the group. No refund will be provided in these circumstances. If you choose to leave the group voluntarily, membership fees remain non-refundable.
Conduct & Safety
All clients are expected to communicate respectfully with Midwife Viv at all times, across all platforms and in person. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of services without a refund.
For all home visit services, clients are responsible for ensuring a safe and suitable environment for Viv to work in. Midwife Viv reserves the right to refuse or terminate a visit if she feels unsafe at any point. In such cases, the session fee remains non-refundable.
Midwife Viv is not an emergency service. In any emergency situation involving you or your baby, please call 999, contact NHS 111, or go to your nearest A&E immediately.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Any personal information you provide when booking or communicating with Midwife Viv is used solely for the purpose of delivering the service you have booked. Your information will not be shared with any third party without your consent. For full details please refer to the Privacy Policy on this website.
All communications between you and Midwife Viv are treated as confidential. Viv will not share details of your sessions or personal circumstances with third parties unless required to do so by law or in the interest of the safety of you or your baby.
Changes to These Terms
Midwife Viv reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Midwife Viv’s services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
