Those first weeks with a newborn are magical. They are also relentless, overwhelming, and utterly exhausting in a way nobody quite prepares you for.
Midwife Viv’s Maternity Nurse Service gives you something every new parent deserves but few allow themselves. A full night of rest, knowing your baby is in the most capable, caring hands possible.
From 8pm to 7am, Viv or one of her personally trusted, DBS-checked, qualified team members takes over. You sleep. Your baby is fed, changed, settled, and cared for with warmth and expertise all night long. You wake up to a morning handover report, a tidy nursery, and a baby who has been loved through the night.
This is not just practical help. It is the kind of gentle, holistic support every new family deserves, and rarely gets.
There is no minimum booking requirement. Whether you need a single night of support or a longer block of care, Viv will do her very best to accommodate you around availability. One night can make a world of difference, and you are always welcome to start there.

What is included every night
Every night delivers over £600 in value for your investment of £274. Here is what that looks like:
- Full overnight newborn care from 8pm to 7am, 11 hours of dedicated support
- Infant feeding support for breast, bottle or combination feeding including latch help, winding techniques and guidance for cluster feeds
- Postnatal recovery support for you including perineal or C-section care advice, emotional support and calm presence
- Light meal and hydration prep including tea, toast and warm oats whenever you need it throughout the night
- Nursery tidy and restock including folding baby clothes, restocking nappies and wipes, and organising the changing station ready for morning
- Soothing and sleep support including gentle tummy massage, swaddling and guidance on healthy sleep habits
- Gentle newborn care education so you are learning as you go, building your confidence shift by shift
- Morning handover with a detailed night report covering feeds, nappies, mood and recommendations for the day ahead
- Optional “While You Slept” baby photo sent via WhatsApp
- Optional weekly personally designed digital memory page, a keepsake from the nights you will barely remember but treasure forever
Pricing
£274 per night. Flat rate, weekdays and weekends.
Holiday nights such as Christmas and Easter carry a supplement of £100 per night. Bank holiday nights carry a supplement of £70 per night.
Who you are getting
Viv is a qualified midwife, mum of two, and someone who genuinely loves the newborn phase. If Viv is unavailable, anyone who steps in is someone she personally trusts. Every team member holds enhanced DBS clearance, has years of experience supporting new families, and shares Viv’s compassionate, judgement-free approach.
